Michele has been active for 16 years in the commercial real estate industry. In 2004, Michele was awarded No. 1 Top Producing Office Realtor by the Cincinnati Board of Realtors, and 1999 and again in 2003,she was recognized as the No. 2 Top Producing Office Realtor in Cincinnati. She also received the award for the 1999 Most Outstanding Transaction for her representation of Ohio Casualty Group in their purchase of the former Mercantile Headquarters facility in Fairfield, a $23 million transaction.

In March 2000, Michele and Jeff Carey formed Carey Laumer Commercial Realty, Inc. The firm has grown to six licensed agents with a primary focus on office leasing and sales. CLC offers both landlord and tenant representation services.

Since August 1994 when Michele began working in office brokerage, she has consummated leases/sales in office buildings throughout the Greater Cincinnati area totaling 3,215,160 square feet. These lease and sale transactions have generated in excess of $178 million in total revenue. Michele has been proud to service the office space needs of both national and local tenants including BHDP Architecture, Strata G Communications, Ohio Casualty Group, Woolpert Engineering, Seapine Software, Freking & Betz, Beckman Weil Shepardson, Lighthouse Youth Services and Red Echo Post.

Prior to office brokerage, Michele was the Director of Research and Acquisitions for Chavez Properties coordinating the purchase of over $100 million in commercial real estate investment throughout the U.S. Her participation in all facets of commercial real estate and management has sharpened her site selection, space design, and project coordination skills. Michele’s experience representing owners and tenants qualifies her to be a strong advocate in the negotiation process.

Prior to working in real estate, Michele spent almost 15 years in career disciplines that honed her highly developed negotiation and project coordination skills. Those disciplines include financial planning and tax, law, insurance, and public administration. Her commitment to establish a partnering relationship in which customer service and satisfaction is paramount results from this wealth of experience.

In November 1999, Michele was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. The CCIM designation is earned upon completion of a graduate-level curriculum and attainment of a level of qualifying experience. CCIM’s are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing and investment analysis. She is also a founding member of the Cincinnati Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).
